3. Climate Control Center and ending

1. Strange illness

After the intro and some dialogue between Kyra and Kalsu, you will gain control of your characters. Start by going back into the room Kyra came out of and talk to
the people (also, don't forget to read the books on the table for some short history lessons on the Algo solar system). After you've finished talking to everyone and got the
four chests in one of the rooms, talk to the Elder to gain insight on your mission. Then exit the Esper Mansion and proceed north-east. An Esper there will clear a
path for you and there will also be a cute scene between Kyra and Kalsu. :)

Make your way east and leave the screen. Talk to one of the guys standing in front of the ship to leave. You will be on board the ship (this is the only time too). Talk
to everyone outside then head downstairs to the ship's pub/bar. Again, talk to everyone, then access the left door and say "yes" to go to sleep. Kyra will wake up
sometime in the night and see that Kalsu is not there so she goes to looks for him. Kalsu will be outside disturbed by some dream (the irony of this is that he thought
he was having a good dream when Kyra agreed to go on a date with him.) There will be some more dialogue and they will go back to their room. You've arrived at
the Cat's Claw island now, in the Hanz port. Here, the soldiers will talk about someone named General Kurei which you will meet later on. Exit the port and enter
Hanz which is right beside the port. Talk to everyone in town to learn a little about the strange illness that has been going around. After the soldier gives you the two
Hanz crests, equip them on Kyra and Kalsu and leave town. Head north to Firgard. With the Hanz crests, the two guards will let you enter. Talk to everyone, buy some
new equipment then head into the castle. Enter the right door to meet General Kurei who's in a war meeting with three other generals and two military advisers. Again
after some dialogue, you will again be able to control your party and Kurei will also join you now. Luckly, he's at a high level and already has all the new equipment
from Firgard. What did you expect? He is the top general after all! Exit the town and train a little until you at least learn gifoi, giwat and gitsu and have enough money
to buy all the new equipment and items you need. When you're ready, head north and enter the temple.

Grab all the chests first in the left and right rooms frist because if you don't, you'll miss them. Note: Don't bother trying to attack the enemies here, just use techs on them
instead or run away. Enter the center room next to face the boss.

- Boss -

Entity

Hp - 1000
Tp - 1000
Attack - 50
Defence - 55
Mind - 60
Agility - 40
Techs - Evil eye, hewn, corrosion, res and Mind Blast.

Experience - 500
Meseta - 225
Item dropped - Sol dew
Recommened levels for boss: Level 10-13

Use gifoi, giwat and gitsu on this guy. Use your items to heal to conserve Kyra's TP for gifoi. Just keep using those techs until you run out of TP. Afterwards, just attack
until it's dead. Don't bother trying to use Earth on bosses in this game, it rarely works. After you've defeated him, the strange illness will be gone and everyone will
recover! Give yourself a pat on the back, you've earned it! Go and talk to everyone in Hanz and Firgard again. After that, talk to Kurei's military advisers then go and
see the Elder back at the Esper Mansion again. Now it's time to enter the temple once more.

2. Journey to the Climate Control Center

Upon entering the temple, the party will comment on how only the top part of the temple was not destroyed. Great, now enter the gate and you will be in another
temple which looks identical. Exit south and you'll be in Fujin, the land of wind! Okay, enter Hackler to the north and enter the pub. Here you'll meet your fourth
character, Honin. After he joins your party, talk to everyone and buy new equipment. Honin will already have the lastest ones. Train in this area a little bit, then head
north into a cave. Make your way up until you meet Igglanova, the second boss.

- Boss -

Igglanova

Hp - 1500
Tp - 100
Attack - 90
Defence - 70
Mind - 75
Agility - 65
Techs - Needle, Sleep gas, Poison mist and ice breath.

Experience - 800
Meseta - 325
Item dropped - Sol dew
Recommened levels for boss: Level 13-15

If Honin knows deban, use it first during your pre-attemptive attack! After that, use saner, then shift on whomever runs out of tp first (probably Kurei). If you have
deban, this fight will be a breeze. After you beat him, all bio-monsters in the cave will be gone. So you can safely pass through here at any time. Alright, now
leave the cave and enter Mahayana to the north. Talk to everyone again and buy new equipment from the stores. Remember to buy any items you may need such as
monomates and dimates. Before leaving town, enter the temple in town and talk to the head priest/monk. He's an old friend of Honin and will give him the awesome
St.Fire technique after talking to him for a bit. After your're done, enter the Rappy's cave north (yes, I know this is kind of repetitive, sorry.) Make your way north
again to fight the King Rappy.

- Boss-

King Rappy

Hp - 2000
Tp - 100
Attack - 90
Defence - 80
Mind - 85
Agility - 55
Techs - Earthquake

Experience - 1000
Meseta - 398
Item dropped - Moon dew
Recommened levels for boss: Level 15-17

This is one if not the easiest bosses in the game! He's slow and has the same attack strenght as Igglanova. you should still watch out for his nasty Earthquake tech
though. It damages all allies and is pretty powerful. Using deban will elimate that worry though. You can also use saner but you don't really need to since the King
Rappy is already slow. Still, it's a good idea to just like with every other boss in this game. You should probably only use the St.Fire tech here once since it consumes
a lot of TP from Honin (30 tp). After you win the fight, the Rappys and King Rappy will stop fighting. The King Rappy will also give you a Star Dew! Thanks man!
Exit north again and make your way to Koko village which has a funny story behind it's name as you'll learn after talking to a person there. Nothing much here, talk to
all the people, buy new equipment then leave the village. Make your way north through the short Forest of Silence and to a port. Inside the ship's bar, you'll meet
Sakuraba from Tales of Phantasia! If you talk to him, you can hear four different remixed midi songs I used in this game. Talk to the captain to leave. After you get to
the other port, buy some items you may need from the supply room (they have Laerma nuts which restore 15% TP here so stock up on those!) Theres' also an inn
in the other building so use it if your need to. After you're stocking up on items, leave the port and enter the third and last cave in the game. The enemies here are
really strong and require you to use techs on them to win. It's also very hard to run from them so have some of trimates and Laerma nuts with you! Make your way
north again to encounter the fourth boss, Guy-Languiah. This boss is hard to beat, so be prepared to face him!

- Boss -

Guy-Languiah

Hp - 2500
Tp - 200
Attack - 100
Defence - 90
Mind - 95
Agility - 85
Techs - Spiral balde, corrosion, flame bolt, flame breath, hewn, ice breath, evil eye.

Experience - 1300
Meseta - 448
Item dropped - Sol dew
Recommened levels for boss: Level 17-19

Use deban followed by saner and shift on all your allies. Since you have tons of Laerma nuts with you by now, feel free to spam with St.Fire techs. Laerma nuts sure
make things easier, don't they? Just use any high level techs on him and you'll win. You should have nafoi, nawat and natsu by now. If not, go and train until you learn
them. After you beat him, make your way north and exit the cave. Upon exiting the cave, enter the abandoned mansion to the west. Explore everything here and grab
all the chests you can find. Save the sake for the last boss and equip Kurei with the laser sword. You can also rest in one of the rooms. After you're done here, exit
the mansion and enter the last dungeon of the game, the Climate Control Center. It's pretty straight forward, so just follow the path. The fourth room does not have
any enemies inside. Grab the chest here for a security card (the chest looks pretty sci-fi with a red "play" arrow on it). You need this card to proceed further so
make sure you get it. Now that you have the security card, access the computer in the second room forward from this one. The door will open and you can proceed
inside. Enter through the right doorway to grab two chests. Then go to the left one and talk to that huge rusted robot to heal and buy items. Save your game here
and enter the north room to face the final boss.

- Final boss -

D-Elm-Lars

Hp - 3000
Tp - 9999
Attack - 120
Defence - 100
Mind - 90
Agility - 80
Techs - Force flash, corrosion, hewn, death glare, dark thunder, evil eye, dark status.

Experience - 1300
Meseta - 448
Item dropped - None (why would you get anything at the last fight...?)
Recommened levels: Level 19-25 (Honin learns his last spell at level 25. You don't really need it that much to win but it makes this fight a lot easier.)

Use the same tactics here as with every other boss. Deban, followed by saner and shift (if you want to). Since this is the last boss, use your sake when you need to.
Make sure to keep everyone's hp high here and keep bombarding D-Elm-Lars with your strongest techniques until you win.

Congratulatons on beating this game! Now sit back and enjoy the ending. Thanks for playing! If you're old enough, you can pop open a beer now to celebrate!
